This version of the SRAM Red BB30 chainset uses the BB30 bottom bracket system and with its larger 30mm spindle, it ensures efficient and flex-free power transfer. It's also available with a standard Road 53/39T chainring setup, making it ideal for time trial and racing use, where you need ultimate acceleration to be first over the line. Or, if you're looking more an option to make climbing a little easier for longer rides, there is a semi-compact 52/36T option too.

X-GlideR Chainrings: The chainrings are designed for an optimised shifting performance with the Yaw front derailleur. The stiffer rings (5mm 7075-T6 aluminium CNC-machined) feature upshift rivets with an advanced design adopted from SRAM XX. CNC machining allows for precision control of each tooth shape, ramp, and nearly every shifting feature of the chainring.
